Profile
Credit unions are non-profit financial cooperatives. By their nature, credit unions are not open to the general public. Members are united by a common bond of association and democratically operate the credit union under state or federal regulations.
JACOM Credit Union is governed by twelve member-elected volunteers serving on the Board of Directors and three member-elected volunteers serving on the Supervisory Committee. The Board of Directors attends regularly scheduled meetings to discuss specific Credit Union issues, goals and progress. The Supervisor Committee retains auditors to ensure that the financial integrity of the Credit Union is maintained.
JACOM Credit Union is a state chartered Credit Union that is monitored and regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the United States Government.
